Our Story

More than six years ago, we met in a coffee shop in Groningen, the Netherlands. Both finding ourselves there for our respective University exchanges, it was pretty incredible that we ended up just a few doors down from each other in our dorm.

A few months of close friendship, with a few trips to Prague and Budapest and one incredible haircut thrown in for good measure, it came time for us to both go home to USA and NZ. In our last three days together, we got a house boat, said I love you for the first time of many, and then had a very sad farewell at the train station.

Nine months of long distance later, Max moved to Geneseo in December 2019. COVID came a long a threw a spanner in the works, and we both moved back to New Zealand in June 2020. After a wonderful few years working in the Marlborough wine industry, we moved to Wellington to enjoy what the city had to offer,

It’s been a wonderful journey (we even picked up two cats along the way), and we are so excited to be sharing this next step with you all.
