What to do in Marlborough
Marlborough, Wairau Valley, and the surrounding areas are super diverse and full of beautiful nature. There are plenty of hikes or mountain biking tracks to attempt, as well as a few great beaches all within an hour.
There is also a great food scene, especially considering the size of the population. We have kept a list of great cafes, restaurants, and bars to visit that we share to anyone who comes into the region, you can find it below.

We recommend the direct service from JFK to Auckland which operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. You will need to also book the connecting flight to Blenheim, but this is only an hour. The latest we would recommend leaving would be Monday 17th November - this would get you to NZ on Wednesday 19th, enough time to shake off the jet lag!

There are lots of options, but New Zealand in general has fewer full service hotels. Some of the nicer options (at least for the price) are entire holiday homes, and there are plenty of normal hotels as well although these vary in quality. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Your presence is more than enough, we appreciate this is a long journey for a lot of you. If you still feel inclined, we would always appreciate any contributions to our Honeymoon fund.
